The short version
BillRadar keeps your bills on your iPhone and, if you're signed in to iCloud, in your own private iCloud storage so they sync between your devices. We can't see either. There are no accounts, no bank connections, no analytics, no ads, and no tracking, and we don't run a server that receives anything from the App.
The only time information reaches anyone else is when you buy Premium (handled by Apple), share a CSV file yourself, or email us for support.
| Information | Where it goes | Identifies you? |
|---|---|---|
| Bills, amounts, due dates, notes, and payment history | Your device, and your private iCloud database if you use iCloud | Never sent to us |
| Reminders, Live Activities, and widgets | Created and shown on your device | Never sent to us |
| Face ID or Touch ID | Checked by iOS. The App only learns whether it succeeded | Never sent to us |
| Premium purchase | Apple. We never receive your payment details | Not linked to you |
| CSV files and support emails you choose to send | Wherever you send them | Only what you send |
Overview
This policy explains how Buknal Enterprise LLC ("we," "us") handles information in the BillRadar: Tracker & Reminder iPhone app ("the App"). It applies only to the App, not to other apps we publish or to websites we don't operate.
BillRadar has no user accounts, and it never connects to your bank or any financial account. You type in the bills you want to track. We don't sell personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.
What the App stores
To track your bills, the App saves what you enter:
- Bills: name, amount, due date, how often it repeats, an optional end date, whether it's on autopay, the icon you picked, and any notes;
- Payment history: when you marked a bill paid or skipped a date, the amount, and any notes on that entry;
- Reminders: when you want to be reminded about each bill;
- Preferences, such as your theme, whether the Face ID lock is on, and your Premium status.
This is information you choose to enter. BillRadar doesn't read your bank, card, or email accounts, and it doesn't make or receive payments. Marking a bill "paid" only records that in the App.
iCloud sync
If you're signed in to iCloud on your device, the App stores your bills, reminders, and payment history in a private CloudKit database in your own iCloud account, so they stay in sync across your devices and come back if you reinstall. That database belongs to your Apple Account. We have no access to it, and Apple stores it under the Apple Privacy Policy.
Apple sends the App silent background notifications when something changes in that database, so your other devices update. Those carry no bill details and don't come from us.
If you're not signed in to iCloud, or you turn off iCloud for BillRadar in your device's iCloud settings, everything stays on that one device.
Reminders, Lock Screen, and widgets
Reminders are scheduled on your device through iOS notifications. When one fires, the App can show the bill as a Live Activity on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, with Mark Paid and Skip buttons. Home Screen widgets show your upcoming bills. All of these are drawn on your device from the App's own data, and none of them is sent to us.
Keep in mind that anything on your Lock Screen can be seen by someone holding your phone, including bill names and amounts. You can turn off BillRadar's notifications or Live Activities in Settings → BillRadar, or use iOS notification preview settings to hide their contents while the phone is locked.
Face ID and Touch ID
You can lock the App with Face ID or Touch ID. The check is done by iOS using Apple's LocalAuthentication framework. The App receives only a yes or no answer. It never receives your face or fingerprint data, and nothing about it leaves your device.
CSV import and export
You can export your bills and payment history as a CSV file, or import bills from one. An export is created on your device and goes only where you send it, such as Files, Mail, or a spreadsheet app, using the iOS share sheet. Once you share it, the recipient or service you chose handles it under its own policies. Imports are read from a file you pick and stay in the App.
What we don't collect
The App contains no analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising software, no third-party code libraries, and no tracking identifiers. It doesn't contact any server of ours. Specifically, the App does not collect or request:
- Bank, card, or other financial account credentials;
- Your name, email address, or phone number;
- Your location;
- Access to your camera, microphone, photos, contacts, or calendars;
- Usage statistics about which features you use;
- Device identifiers for tracking you across apps or websites.
Apple separately lets you share crash and usage reports with app developers under Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements. If you turn that on, Apple may provide us aggregated, anonymous crash reports. You can turn it off at any time.
Premium purchase
BillRadar is free to download and offers an optional one-time Premium purchase. Payment is processed entirely by Apple through your Apple Account. To confirm that Premium is unlocked, the App asks Apple's StoreKit for your purchase record on the device. We receive only anonymized sales reports from Apple, and we never see your name, card number, billing address, or Apple Account details.
Contacting support
If you tap Contact Support, the App opens a draft email in your mail app addressed to [email protected]. The draft includes the App version, your device model, and your iOS version, to help us troubleshoot. Nothing is sent until you choose to send it, and you can edit or delete any of that information first.
When you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to answer you and to fix problems you report, and we don't add you to any mailing list. Please don't send us bank or card numbers.
Apple services
The App is distributed through the App Store. iCloud sync, notifications, purchases, refunds, and the "Rate this app" prompt are handled by Apple under the Apple Privacy Policy. The App uses no other third-party services.
Deleting your data
Because your information lives on your devices and in your own iCloud, you control it directly:
- Delete a bill or a payment history entry inside the App. If you use iCloud, the deletion syncs to your other devices.
- Delete the App to remove what it stored on that device.
- To remove the copy in iCloud as well, delete BillRadar's data from your iCloud storage in your device's iCloud settings (under Manage Storage).
- Your Premium purchase stays with your Apple Account, so reinstalling and restoring purchases on the upgrade screen unlocks it again.
Support emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and keep a record of it. Ask us and we'll delete your correspondence.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing, under laws such as the GDPR in Europe and the UK, and the CCPA/CPRA in California.
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by these laws. Your bill data is stored on your devices and in your own iCloud, where you can view, export, and delete it yourself. The only personal information we might hold is a support email you sent. Write to us and we'll respond within the time the applicable law requires.
Children's privacy
BillRadar is a household bill tracker for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
Information stored by the App is protected by iOS and by your device passcode, and optionally by the App's own Face ID or Touch ID lock. Data in iCloud is protected by Apple's security for your Apple Account; with Advanced Data Protection turned on, Apple encrypts it end to end. Purchases are verified through Apple's signed StoreKit transactions. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the App changes. If a future version begins collecting any information, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy label before that version is released. The revised policy takes effect when posted on this page, with a new "Last updated" date above.
